For Patriot Dream

Art thou a heavenly patriot,

thy King's banner to stream,

who yearnest for that Paradise,

the saints' irenic dream?

Then set thy gaze unwavering

on the Father land so pure;

for though the battle rages on,

the victory lies secure.
