Weep no more, O heav'n resplendent!
Stow your tears, your grief is done.
Hail the kingly Star ascendant;
Bask in glory's rising Sun!
'Behold, I come.'
Waste no longer, earth, which tended
Shoals and herds and flocks with loam.
Graced anew, your shame is ended;
Man redeemed shall reach his home.
'Behold, I come.'
Wane no more, ye sprouting things;
Your burden's loosed, the curse undone.
Rills, rejoice; peaks, raise your voice!
All things, extol the Holy One!
'Behold, I come.'
